ByKOLLES Racing completes its pre-superseason testing program in Monza and heads to season opener in Belgium
ByKOLLES Racing has completed its homework with an extensive run in Monza today. The Enso CLM P1/01 has successfully covered full programmed test-mileage in a dry and warm day which saw it being driven by regulars Oliver Webb, Dominik Kraihamer, Tom Dillmann, joined by Rene Binder who just came back in time from his Indycar race in Alabama. The final touch to the 2018 aero-package has been duly evaluated on the legendary italian track and the team now heads to the 2018/19 WEC opener in Spa-Francorchamps.
As anticipated earlier this month, ByKOLLES Racing has intensified its final efforts before the 2018/19 WEC Superseason kicks off at Spa-Francorchamps in 2 weeks time: on Thursday the 26th of April the ENSO CLM P1/01 Nismo will run in Monza featuring an additional set of updates.
Following a very satisfying test of the Enso CLM P1/01 Nismo at the WEC Prologue in Paul Ricard last week, with a high number of laps completed without technical issues and confirming the significant gains in both performance and reliability, ByKOLLES Racing will now focus on fine-tuning before the first race in Spa Francorchamps on the 05th of May as outlined below:
Team ByKolles will hold a roll-out of its LMP1 prototype on Friday the 30th of March 2018 on the airfield in Donauwoerth (D): this shakedown is finalised to a functioning check of the 2018-spec Nismo engine and software. Additionally, the car will be fitted with all the new components which recently passed FIA tests and will deliver an overall saving of weight as well as ByKolles' new aero-development parts including 2018 splitter and flaps, underfloor and suspension covers as an anticipation to the full 2018 aero-package which will be run in Paul Ricard at the coming WEC Prologue on 6/7th of April.
